The 12-U Shamrocks is a highly competitive Junior Olympics fast pitch softball team based in Northern Virginia. The Shamrocks include girls who live in the Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland Metropolitan Areas. This team competes at the highest level of girls' athletics. By the end of their 2001 Season, the 12-U Shamrocks will have traveled to and competed in over ten tournaments. Our goal is to play in the ASA National tournament in Garland, Texas. We need your help! To travel and represent the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland Metro Areas constitute a huge challenge. It will take $2,000 or more per athlete to participate in these tournaments. Our team is willing to ‘go’ the distance; however, it will take some financial assistance from sponsors like you.
