Shamrocks in the FINALS!
The 16U Shamrocks won a thriller SEMI-FINAL game, beating the Auburndale Maniacs (Florida) 9-6 in 11 innings! The lead went back and forth the entire game. At the end of 7, the score was tied 5-5. The International Tiebreaker Rule went into effect in the 8th inning. Great defensive play from both teams kept the scores even before Dorian Shaw lauched a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning, her thrid home run of the tournament. The Shamrocks defense held on for the the win. Da 'Rocks now play in the FINAL versus a tough Chinese Taipei team, who were the winners of the international bracket.

3PM (Second Round) - Shamrocks 3, Diamond Dusters 1
5PM (Quarter-finals) - Shamrocks 5, Team Florida 0
SEMI-FINALS on Sunday at 11AM. Winner plays in the FINALS versus the winner of the International Bracket. Congrats ladies!
