The 18U Shamrocks are forming a very talented team for 2012, one that former Shamrock players and coaches will be very proud of. The ultimate goal of this team will be to compete for a national championship at the 2012 Premier Girls Fastpitch Nationals. In addition to PGF qualifiers, the team will attend some of the best showcases available this summer, likely including the Independence Day Invitational (Boulder, CO) and Champions Cup (Huntington Beach, CA). Our players are seen by college programs throughout the country, and continue to be signed to some of the best. However, we will not play the summer Showcases with a "showcase mentality". Playing time is not guaranteed, or evenly distributed. The best players, regardless of their college status, will get the lions share of time. The Shamrocks are all about putting together the best, most dedicated and hard working players, putting the best team possible on the field, competing ferociously at all levels.
